Make the rater’s job easy—and your rating higher—with an evidence index. Today, open your claim folder and build a one-page index: list each document, give it a simple tag (E1, E2, etc.), add date, author/source, and one clear takeaway (diagnosis, in‑service link, nexus, severity/functional impact). Add a final column showing which element it proves (current disability, event, nexus, or rating). Rename your files to match, save the index as PDF, and upload it to your claim on VA.gov under Other Evidence.
