Guard/Reserve? Prove your injury happened on duty—lock down your ACDUTRA dates today. Email your state National Guard records office (or unit S1) and request your NGB-23 (Retirement Points Statement) plus the orders covering the injury date; ask for certified copies. Upload both to your pending claim on VA.gov with a short note: “Injury occurred during ACDUTRA per Orders # dated .” This pins your event to qualifying service and shuts down the “not in line of duty” excuse.
