Scars pay when you prove size, pain, and instability—show it today. Grab your phone and a ruler/tape measure, take timestamped, well-lit photos of each service-related scar: one close-up with the ruler showing length and width, one from a step back for location, and one if there’s skin breakdown or tenderness when pressed. In the photo caption or a short signed note, state pain (yes/no), frequency of breakdown, and number of scars. Upload to your current claim on VA.gov under "Upload evidence" today.
