Own Your Evidence: Request Your VA C-File Online Today

Discuss on Reddit

Stop guessing—grab your C-File and see what VA is actually using. Today, log into VA.gov, search "Get your VA claims file (C-File)," and submit a Privacy Act request for your entire eFolder (rating decisions, C&P reports, STRs, CAPRI notes, and correspondence). When it’s ready, download and audit for missing records, wrong facts, and favorable findings you can cite. If you spot gaps, upload the missing evidence to your active claim or use it to target a Supplemental/HLR. If unsure on steps, follow the instructions on VA.gov.

About VA Claim Helper

VA Claim Helper is led by a U.S. Navy submariner (ET2/SS, USS Pittsburgh 1995–2005) translating VA law into plain-English claim strategy so veterans can document service connection, prep for C&P exams, and win ratings without guesswork.

We publish daily VA disability tips, evidence checklists, and field manuals that walk you from Intent to File through appeals. Every guide is battle-tested with the veteran community and refreshed when VA policy shifts so the intel stays mission ready.
