Don’t just say it—show it: capture your flare-up on video today Today, use your phone to record a 60–90 second clip of the claimed joint (back/knee/shoulder) during or right after a flare. State your name, date, and condition; slowly move through each motion until the first point of pain, then stop—say where it hurts and note weakness, fatigue, or instability. Upload the video to VA.gov under your claim as lay evidence and add a one-sentence note on frequency. This documents painful motion and functional loss the rater must consider.
