Guard/Reserve injuries don’t count unless you prove duty status—grab your LOD today. Log into your service records portal or call your unit admin and request your Line of Duty (LOD) determination and any duty-status injury paperwork for each incident. Download the signed LOD and attach it to your claim on VA.gov under 'Add evidence' today. That one document proves the injury happened in the line of duty during drill or training, nails service connection for Reserve/Guard events, and can unlock ratings or TDIU when paired with current medical evidence.
