Missed something in your C&P? Don’t let a bad exam sink your claim. Today, call the Release of Information office at your VA medical center and request a copy of your C&P examiner’s DBQ/progress note; many facilities can provide it quickly, even same day. If it was a contractor exam (LHI/QTC/VES), ask ROI to pull it from your VA record. Read it line by line for inaccuracies—wrong history, skipped flare-ups, off-by-numbers range-of-motion, or minimized work impact. Upload a tight, factual rebuttal on VA.gov using VA Form 21-4138, citing page/line and attaching any corroborating records you already have. Explicitly request a new exam if the errors are material.
